The Wild Side design features Max, the main character from Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are: Maurice Sendak's work talks mostly about how young children deal with and ultimately survive negative feelings and trauma. Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are, shows not only the main character, Max's imagination, but also anger. The book is a story of Max's reaction to his absent mother's punishment and overall a look into the parts of a neglected child's stages of anger. Where the Wild Things Are was first published in 1963, a movie version of the story was created in 2009.
